In this article it talks about how Yahoo is thinking about taking over Tumblr. Yahoo is offering Tumblr 1.1 billion dollars in cash by Chief Executive Marissa Maye. Also Tumblr will still be separate business and independently operated. Dave Karp, the founder of Tumblr in 2007, will still be the CEO. Yahoo is trying to get Tumblr because it is one of the most used sited by teenagers and hope it will attract them to use yahoo. Yahoo also thinks it ill increase there audience by 50 percent to more then a billion mouthy users.
